Residential development of 75 dwellings with associated open space

The site is part of the new neighbourhood at Southern Leighton Linslade and plays an important role forming the southern edge and gateway into the town.

The final design is the result of collaboration and negotiation with the local authority and developers of the adjacent site. The common aim was highlight the unique features of the edge and gateway to give the site its own identity while at the same time reinforcing the sense of the town as a whole.

Residential development of 165 dwellings with allotments, orchard and supporting open space.

The site is one of several allocated in the local plan and taken through a process involving production of a development brief in collaboration with the local authority. The sloping former quarry also lies under a 400kV overhead power line. The design task thus involved applying National Grid guidelines as well as integrating higher levels of parking required due to reactions against other recent local schemes.
